  • The average serving size that our customers seem to prefer is between 100-125gms.

*500gm pudding suitable for 4 generous serves

*1 Kg suitable for up to 8-10 serves

    *1.5kg suitable for 12-15 serves

  • Your Pudding is best stored in a cool dark cupboard until its best-before date which is one year from being made. In fact, your pudding will mature and improve in flavour the longer it sits. Some customers actually prefer to purchase their pudding the year before they wish to enjoy it.

You can always freeze your Pudding for long-term storage if you wish.

  • Our puddings are fully cooked when you purchase them and there are two ways you can heat them.

To boil them: remove the Calico, ribbon and label and place the pudding (in the food grade cellophane) into a pot of boiling water and simmer for at least 30 minutes for a 500gm pudding up to around 1 1/2-2hrs for our 1.5kg pudding.

Remove the cello before slicing and serve in your favourite way.

To reheat in the microwave, remove all the packaging and reheat on medium for approximately 1 minute per 100 grams. You can also heat individual slices for 30 seconds. Serving sizes and microwave wattages do vary so please take care to not overheat your pudding.

  • Most of the fruit in our puddings is grown and dehydrated right here on the farm at the beginning of the season. As demand has grown we have sourced fruit from regional South Australia, only the dates have to be sourced from elsewhere. Our aim is to support as many local family businesses as possible and suppliers include, Flinders Rangers Premium Gain, Rhodes and Cluck Cluck Eggs, Barossa Brandy, Little Blessing Brewery, and Flinders Rangers Apiaries. The Sugar and butter are sourced from Australian companies using Australian ingredients and we make the bread before we crumb it by hand for use in our puddings.
